Mental Health Intro (2 hours)

The course covers topics such as understanding mental health issues, identifying warning signs, providing initial support and connecting individuals with professional resources. Through a combination of case studies and interactive exercises, participants will learn how to approach sensitive conversations, offer practical support, and reduce the stigma around mental health.

By the end of the course, participants will have the tools they need to recognise the sings of mental health crises, provide appropriate initial support, and help individuals access the professional resources they need to recover and thrive.

The 'Mental Health First Aid' course is an essential step toward creating a mentally healthy workplace and community.

Mental Health Awareness (Half Day)

Talking about mental health can be challenging but is essential in promoting a positive culture in which staff can feel valued and stigma surrounding mental health can be challenged. Our Mental Health Awareness training course provides learners with knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, empowers them to start supportive conversations, and provides guidance for how to signpost others to seek professional help.

We recognise how important it is to look after our own mental health, so this course will also aid learners to recognise and manage stress.

Learners will not be trained to diagnose mental health conditions but gain knowledge to provide initial support to someone who may need it.
